FRP L-Angle.

Trim Component
3rd Party Tested

CLADIATOR® FRP L-Angle is a non-load-bearing FRP trim profile engineered to maintain thermal continuity in rainscreen assemblies. Designed to complement Slotted-Z® FG girts, it reduces metal thermal bridging at transitions and openings while supporting flashing integration and preserving continuous insulation.

Performance advantages

Optimized Thermal Detailing Performance

Reduced Linear Thermal Bridging

With thermal conductivity approximately 200× lower than steel, the FRP L-Angle significantly reduces heat transfer at openings and transition points where traditional metal trims create thermal bridges.

Continuous Insulation Across Transitions

Maintains uninterrupted insulation at window and door perimeters, rainscreen edges, and roof-to-wall conditions—protecting the integrity of the building envelope.

Improved Wall U-Value Performance

By eliminating conductive metal interruptions at detailing zones, the system helps preserve overall wall assembly performance and energy efficiency.

Decreased Condensation Potential

Minimizing localized thermal bridging reduces cold spots within the assembly, lowering the risk of condensation and moisture-related issues.

Fast. Easy. Secure
